Homemade Salted Carmel Sauce

Last week I stumbled upon a video tutorial for salted caramel sauce and decided to make it. Here are a few pictures:


One cup of granulated sugar in a heavy sauce pan.


Medium high heat and stir.


Turn off stove. Add 5T butter and keep stirring.


Keep stirring and add 6oz. plus  1 T heavy cream.

Let cool and store in glass air tight container.
