Today my family and I celebrated my niece’s birthday.
These cupcakes were made for a friend’s nephew’s first birthday, red velvet cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese frosting.
This was a rush order for 30 chocolate flower cupcakes. I made royal icing for this and made flowers out of fondant. There is sanding sugar that I made using a mini chopper and adding granulated sugar and pink coloring gel.
This past Monday the Senior Ministry at my church had a Tea Party. Marie, a friend of mine ordered 4 dozen cupcakes for the Tea. She set them up great with the rest of their desserts while her daughter took pictures.
-Devil’s food cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
-Pineapple cupcakes with orange crem cheese frosting and blue buttercream frosting.
I have seen pictures of these cupcakes and videos of people making rainbow cupcakes but haven’t attempted until last week. I used a white cake and followed instructions to separate the patter into 6 different containers. These cupcakes were time consuming but the reviews and responses were encouraging at the end. I made these cupcakes for my boss and for a friend. I thought I’d share them with both.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day at school, I decided to make things desserts made with chocolate.
